The 70th Miss Universe contest was held in Eilat, Israel, Monday morning. The top three finalists were Paraguay, India and South Africa. India’s Harnaz Kaur Sandhu crowned Miss Universe 2021. In the final round, the top three contestants were asked what advice they would like to give all the women who witnessed the competition. Miss India Harnaz along with Miss South Africa and Miss Paraguay responded perfectly and concluded the competition rounds. Finally, the winners were announced and Miss Mexico was crowned Miss India.
The first runner-up was Miss Paraguay and the second runner-up Miss South Africa. As soon as Steve Harvey declared Miss India Harnaz Kaur Sandhu the winner, the entire stadium erupted into cheers. Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu burst into tears as soon as her winning name was announced. Miss Mexico Andrea Meza was crowned Miss Harnaz as Miss Universe 2021. When the competition began on Monday morning, Harnaz was initially a top 16 and, after the swimwear tour, was part of the top 10.
In the final round of questions, Harnaz said the advice she would give young women is to believe in themselves. She said, “The biggest pressure young people face today is believing in themselves. Knowing that they are unique makes them beautiful. Stop comparing yourself to others and let’s talk about more important things happening around the world. Go ahead and speak up. For yourself, because you are the leader of your life. You are the voice of your voice. I believed in myself and that is why I am here today.”
In the previous round of questions and answers, he was asked to convince people who think climate change is a hoax in another way. In response to the question, she made it clear that it is necessary to act rather than repent and reform. Points were tallied from each round and in the end the votes were counted. After that, Harnaaz Sandhu was crowned Miss Universe 2021.
