If A Child ‘Sexually Abuses’ Another Child, This Is What You Need To Do.

Sadly, most cases go unnoticed because kids are unable to express their discomfort in such cases.
The onus lies on us – adults – to create an hospitable environment where our children are comfortable to lay bare their hearts to us.
Children always learn from their parents and surroundings. They imbibe whatever they see at home and often try to replicate that in their personal lives. Therefore, relationships amongst family members always play an important part in a child’s upbringing.
In case of a sexual abuse with a child, it’s important that we don’t lose our cool and never express our discontentment in front of him or her. But what should we do when the abuser is an 8 year old child?
A woman narrated her ordeal on Quora stating that her 8-year-old son is groping a girl in school.
It’s interesting to read the responses that followed. People were quick to react and went to the extent of calling him a “sexual abuser in making”.
People blamed the child in all ways possible until Amrita Sharma could come out with a reasonable argument.
What is important in such a situation is that you sit back and ask yourself a few questions. Find out why the child is showing signs of sexual aggression at such a tender age.
When people were outraged of her ‘subtle’ approach in the matter, she clarified her stand.
We should understand that a child doesn’t know what is right or wrong until he or she is brought up as a responsible human being.
Don’t overreact. Sit back and question yourself.
