Contemporary Artist and sustainable design practitioner, Bandana Jain speaks like a true Artist when she professes her love for trash and how she finds artistic creativity in it. In an exclusive conversation with Feministaa she talks about the reality of sustainable living and how it can be introduced in our daily urban lives by adopting small steps like separating garbage, recycling and reusing.

The biggest myth that surrounds sustainable lifestyle is that it can only be afforded and adopted by the privileged and rich section of the society. Bandana says to promote and accept sustainability in one’s life, you don’t have to be rich. She elucidates that the ancient rural lifestyle was sustainable and Eco-friendly even before sustainable living became the new fashion statement.
